Thursday 28th August; 9.30am to 10.45am
Virtual Workshop

Employers recognize that empowering all employees to realize their potential is key to building a thriving, dynamic workforce. This is especially true for individuals with disabilities, who may encounter unique challenges in not only securing employment but also in progressing and flourishing within their careers. By providing the right support and fostering an inclusive environment, employers can unlock the talents of disabled employees, enabling them to thrive, achieve career advancement, and contribute fully to the organization’s success.

This workshop will begin by unpacking the concept of ‘reasonable adjustments’ and discussing how these adjustments can enable disabled employees to thrive. We’ll explore best practices for collaborating with individuals to determine the most effective support throughout the recruitment process and in their ongoing roles. Participants will gain insights into practical approaches that create a positive, empowering experience for both employees and employers.

In addition, attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear directly from individuals who have benefited from workplace adjustments, learning about their experiences and the steps they took to access support. This personal perspective will provide valuable insights into the impact of effective adjustments on job satisfaction and productivity.

Designed to be interactive, this workshop encourages open discussion and provides ample opportunity for questions & discussions. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how to identify, source, and implement adjustments that promote an inclusive workplace where all employees can succeed.

Particularly suitable for Early Years & Lateral Hire recruiters, HR, Interviewing Managers and Line Managers
