MyPlus Recruiters' Club

Be disability confident in graduate recruitment

Progressive graduate employers recognise that more than 14% of students have a disability or long-term health condition. This has significant implications for your graduate recruitment strategy, from how you attract and select candidates, through to assessment and on-boarding.

It’s not just a question of being fair and inclusive; you could be missing out on a rich pool of talent.

MyPlus Recruiters' Club offers graduate recruiters an expert membership forum for graduate recruiters to gain and share insights, build greater disability confidence and realise the possibilities of opening up graduate recruitment to students with disabilities.

Confidence in graduate recruitment will also benefit your existing employees who have a disability or become disabled during their career. 83% of people acquire a disability as opposed to being born with it. The average age of acquiring a disability is 45.

MyPlus Recruiters' Club will provide you with the knowledge, confidence and support you require to attract, recruit and develop disabled graduates

Different levels of MyPlus Recruiters’ Club membership are available which provide access to consultancy days, a calendar of events, our Student Recruitment Toolkit, the opportunity to target students by showcasing your business and advertising jobs on the Students’ Club website and open access to advice and support. View all levels of membership.

Working in Partnership

Our members are able to demonstrate they are a disability confident employer and raise their profile as a disability confident company using our logos

Any company displaying these logos is working with MyPlus. The logos demonstrate their commitment to becoming a disability confident employer.

We encourage Recruiters’ Club members to use the Students’ Club logo in any communications targeted at students, such as collateral, careers brochures, careers websites or emails to candidates. Displaying the logo is an excellent way to demonstrate that they are a disability confident employer and will encourage potential applicants to visit their profile on our MyPlus Students' Club website.

The Recruiters’ Club logo would be used where they wish to raise their profile as a disability confident company. For example, on the Disability/Diversity section of their website/intranet or on external communications such as email signatures or tender documents. It is up to our members what they think is most appropriate depending on who their audience is.
