Consultancy, training & resources

MyPlus upskills University Employability Teams with the knowledge and tools enabling them to deliver informed, practical careers advice that empowers their disabled students to realise their potential.

Training for employability teams

We partner with University Employability Teams to strengthen your knowledge, confidence and practical capability in supporting the growing number of disabled students in Higher Education to make a successful transition from education into employment.

Our training equips your team with the insight, language and practical tools to better advise, prepare and empower disabled students navigating recruitment and the early stages of their careers.

All sessions are bespoke and tailored to your institution’s priorities, challenges and student demographic. Popular topics include:

  • An introduction to disability & student recruitment

  • Encouraging openness: helping students navigate disability disclosure discussions

  • Requesting adjustments: ensuring students access disability support during the recruitment process

  • Disability inclusion in the workplace: equipping your students to transition from education into the workplace

I thought that this was by far the best session I’ve ever attended on the topic or disability and student recruitment. It was detailed, clear and nuanced, and I really appreciated your guiding principles of openness and sharing.

— Claire, University of York
