MyPlus launches disability confident Introductory membership level for employers

Windsor, UK  – 29th June 2020. MyPlus Recruiters’ Club (MPRC) an innovative membership forum for organisations to gain and share insights, build greater disability confidence and realise the possibilities of opening up recruitment to individuals with disabilities, launches an Introductory membership level.

MPRC provides employers with the knowledge, confidence and support they require to attract, recruit and develop individuals with disabilities or long-term health conditions. With different levels of membership packages available, MPRC members can take advantage of a calendar of events which provide the opportunity to learn about key issues, share best practice and network with others facing similar challenges, benefit from consultancy days and gain access to students by showcasing their business on the MyPlus Students’ Club website (opens in new window). It currently has nearly 40 members, including organisations from various industry sectors such as banking, consulting, legal and pharmaceuticals. Members include Barclays, BP, EY, Hogan Lovells and Enterprise Holdings.

The new Recruiters’ Club Introductory level is suitable for organisations who are not focusing on the recruitment of students and who are in the early stages of their disability confident journey with a limit on the time and budget they can commit. This level also provides the flexibility of being able to attend just the Webinars if access to London where events take place is an issue but allows them to benefit from the events at a reduced membership rate should they be able attend.

Helen Cooke, CEO and Founder of MyPlus said ‘Since the launch of the Recruiters’ Club in 2010 we are seeing an increasing amount of interest in the Recruiters’ Club from organisations based nationally across the UK and from smaller companies who don’t have a student recruitment focus. There are also many organisations who have been focusing on diversity but are only just starting to look at the disability element. We have therefore created the Introductory membership level to open up the relevant benefits to meet their needs’.
