Disability confidence in student recruitment: An introduction to the new MyPlus Recruiters Toolkit

Hosted by Hogan Lovells

MyPlus is delighted to launch its Student Recruitment Toolkit, ‘Recruiting talented disabled students: from engagement to onboarding’. The purpose of the toolkit is to help employers understand what being a disability confident student recruiter means in practice, and what the practical steps are to achieve this.

The toolkit will provide a step-by-step guide to achieving disability confidence in each of the 8 key focus areas enabling employers to easily understand what they need to do, and enabling them to measure their own progress.

The benefits of using the toolkit are that it will enable you to identify where you currently are in terms of being disability confident and where you need to be. You will then be able to take the actions required to close the gap.

During this Disability Café Helen Cooke, Director of MyPlus Consulting, will take you through the different parts of the toolkit and provide you with the insights to consider where you currently benchmark. You will then have the opportunity to consider what steps you will need to take in order to become disability confident. By the end of the Disability Café, you will have the start of a plan to take forward to becoming fully disability confident in student recruitment.
