MyPlus Students’ Club Business and University Relationship Manager
£22,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
MyPlus is one of the UK’s leading authorities in disability recruitment and development. Founded in 2006 we have worked with a variety of organisations including Barclays, EY, BP, Allen & Overy and National Grid.
Two key parts of the business are the MyPlus Students Club (MPSC) and the MyPlus Recruiters’ Club (MPRC). The MyPlus Students’ Club is a website that provides students with disabilities and long-term health conditions the advice, support and confidence to find opportunities, approach relevant organisations and go on to realise new possibilities with progressive employers. MyPlus Recruiters’ Club is a membership forum aimed at building disability confidence in graduate recruitment. Our member clients are mostly large Corporates who benefit from training events and also have the opportunity to profile their organization and advertise jobs on the Students’ Club website.
About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an innovative and growing business. The successful candidate will take ownership of the MyPlus Students’ Club including how to develop the website, how to effectively market it and how to ensure it generates a revenue stream.
The role reports directly to the Founder and Director of the organisation however the incumbent will also work closely with the wider MyPlus team.
Ownership for the MPSC business growth plan for 2019: responsible for ensuring that the MPSC achieves its growth plan
Responsible for the MPSC Marketing and Activity Plan: responsible for developing and implementing the marketing plan to achieve growth of members, and increased awareness, of the MPSC within Universities, Students and RC partners
Revenue generation: Identify, and progress, opportunities to generate revenue from MPSC from sponsorship and advertising
Develop and manage the relationships with UK Universities: to include departments such as Careers, Student Services, Widening Participation and Disability Services. To include the creation of a University Marketing Plan to deliver growth of members
Management of 3rd party collaborative relationships: Continue to establish working relationships with 3rd parties to support the promotion of the MPSC
Monitor, and report on, Google Analytics
The successful candidate will have:
A degree, or equivalent, in business, marketing, communications or a related field.
At least 1 years’ experience of client faced work experience
A proven track record of working in marketing, digital marketing and / or advertising and implementing marketing strategies.
You will also have:

Strong communication skills; written, verbal and social media.
Strong interpersonal skills enabling you to quickly establish relationships with a wide range of people.
Strong planning and organisational skills.
Excellent creative thinking and initiative.
Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
The flexibility, and enthusiasm, to support projects outside of your core responsibilities when required.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is proactive and is comfortable working independently.
This role is based from home; you will be required to travel to Windsor, Berkshire, where the organisation is based.
The successful candidates will live within an hour’s commute of Windsor
Additional travel around the UK maybe required.
Part time will be considered; minimum 3 days
